Last Thursday, March 9th, our GFWC Miami Springs Woman's Club hosted the MEET THE CANDIDATES forum at the Rebeca Sosa Theatre in the Miami Springs Community Center. It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to meet the candidates running for council, and our residents filled every seat in the theatre. Residents got to ask important questions and hear from the candidates about the issues affecting them, their families, and our community. It takes courage to run for office, so we thank the Candidate's willingness to serve.
Special thanks to our Civic Engagement & Outreach Chair, Alyssa Cundari Roelans, and the Meet the Candidate's committee that helped organize this forum, including Buzz Fleischman,
who moderated the event.
