On Saturday, April 1st, the Easter Bunny visited the GFWC Miami Springs Woman's Club for the first time, and again our club brought so much joy to our community.
The members creatively covered the clubhouse walls with flowers, and bunny art installations, like 2023: The Year of Rabbit (Chinese Zodiac), Viral Art, Easter Photos Gone Wrong, and Bunnies in History (which included Bad Bunny). There were tables full of bunny crafts, candy kabobs, chocolate-covered peeps, and coconut macaroons, all made by the members for sale.
Kids loved walking through the fringe curtains & dangling carrots that filled a large portion of the clubhouse. They also enjoyed coloring Easter Bunny pages and later gifted their artwork to the Easter Bunny. We can't forget the fun bunny songs that delighted both kids and adults courtesy of our Buzz Fleischman and his guitar.
All proceeds from this fundraising event goes to support the club's programs, charities, and initiatives.
