Jennifer Ator was a beloved member of the Miami Springs Woman's Club; among her many accomplishments, she was a councilwoman, an attorney, and a graduate of the inaugural class of the University of Miami's Good Government Initiative; she derived great satisfaction from the results of thoughtful, loving, and dedicated service to her community and numerous community and service organizations. In her memory, this scholarship will be awarded to a graduating High School student pursuing a career in Education, Law, Political Science, or Journalism.

Eligibility:

This scholarship is for high school students in their senior year pursuing a career in Education, Law, Political Science, or Journalism.

Please submit an essay (500-700 words) telling us your story. We want to hear about what drives your passion. Share your personal journey, the challenges you've overcome, and the dreams you are pursuing. Explain why you deserve the Jennifer Ator Scholarship and how it will help you achieve your educational goals.

You must present 2 letters of recommendation from teachers or administrators at your senior high school.

A copy of your transcripts.

You may use the funds towards any accredited college or university if selected.
Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a US resident, residing in the City of Miami Springs or attending a high school located in the City of Miami Springs

Must be planning to attend a two or four-year college or university.

Minimum 3.0 GPA.
