October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. IN HER SHOES is an interactive experience designed to allow women and men the opportunity to walk “in the shoes” of women experiencing violence. Participants move, act, think, and make choices as a person experiencing an abusive relationship.

October is Domestic Violence Action Month, and you are invited to participate in a program that will change your life.
GFWC Miami Springs Woman's Club is bringing the In Her Shoes® program to our community. In Her Shoes® is an experiential learning program about domestic violence. Participants move, act, think, and make choices as a person experiencing an abusive relationship. In Her Shoes® is being used to educate communities about domestic violence in over 900 nationwide communities. It will be hosted by our member, and mental health counselor, Yanira Ross, CBHCM-S, LMHC of Ross Wellness Centers. There are only 40 spots available.
